Çankırı Karatekin University Vocational School, Department of Design, Interior Design Program Lecturer. Gör. Under the guidance of Müzeyyen AKSÖZ ŞEN, a “Design Thinking Workshop” on “WORKSHOP: Two Dimensional Sustainable and Creative Application” was organized on Friday, 21.02.2025 between 13:45-15:00 at Çankırı TOBB Science High School Technology and Design Workshop for Çankırı TOBB Science High School students and anyone who wants to participate.
Workshop, Lecturer. Assist. Müzeyyen AKSÖZ ŞEN`s opening speech and the participants were informed about the purpose of the workshop. Participants had the opportunity to apply their design-oriented ideas by developing two-dimensional design projects in groups. They practiced on techniques to produce sustainable design solutions. Design-oriented thinking techniques were presented to the participants and design processes were created through these techniques. Two-dimensional form works were realized by evaluating waste paper.

Design Thinking Processes: The basic principles of design thinking were explained to the participants.
Sustainable Design Practices: Information was given on environmentally friendly materials and sustainability principles.
Students had the opportunity to apply their knowledge on sustainable design and gained awareness on zero waste. The workshop enabled the participants to gain knowledge in the fields of environmental sustainability and creative design, while gaining practical experience through group work. The continuation of such events is of great importance in terms of raising awareness on design thinking and sustainability.
