Political science conferences were held at Çankırı Şehit Seyit Saraç Special Operations Police Training Center on March 11, 2025. Within the body of UGSAM, Political Science and Public Administration faculty members of our University, Assist. Dr. Feyza KALAV İDRİSOĞLU and Assist. Dr. Kübra AŞIK AKDEMİR made presentations.
Assist. Dr. Feyza KALAV İDRİSOĞLU made a presentation on “Public Policies and Peace”. In the presentation, current public policies were discussed within the framework of Norwegian theorist Johan Galtung`s understanding of violence and peace.
Assist. Dr. Kübra AŞIK AKDEMİR made a presentation on “The Role of Women`s Cooperatives in Women`s Empowerment”. In the presentation, the role and importance of women`s cooperatives on women`s empowerment and sustainable development were emphasized, and it was aimed to raise awareness by promoting women`s cooperatives in Çankırı.
