Şabanözü Vocational School, Department of Medical Services and Techniques, Medical Laboratory Techniques Program Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Oğlakçı İlhan organized an educational seminar titled “The Secret of Our Blood Group” on 28 April 2025 at Şabanözü Şehitler Primary School within the scope of Social Contribution: Why is it Important?" training seminar was organized.
In the event organized for primary school students, the duties of blood and types of blood groups were explained. It was emphasized with examples that knowing your blood type plays a vital role in emergencies and health services. At the end of the event, students were shown how to determine their blood type in practice. This application with real test kits provided students with practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge.
