Faculty of Science Scientific and Cultural Activities - Within the framework of social contribution, on Wednesday, 17 April 2024, 7th World Chemistry Day and 16th World Biologists Day events were held with the contributions of the lecturers of the Biology and Chemistry Departments.
The event was held in the foyer of the Faculty of Science and was attended by the students of İsmet İnönü Secondary School, which is affiliated to the National Directorate of Education of our province, accompanied by their teachers. The students showed great interest in the activities, which included the world of aquatic organisms, macro and microscopic examination of plant and animal samples, DNA model making, plant identification using clues, volcano experiment, elephant tusk experiment and colour change experiments. Students had the opportunity to observe and learn basic science biology and chemistry activities in a fun way.
